Who are we?

No day at Ak-O-Mak is routine. However, we do follow a model to each day.

Unlike any other camp, every begins with our “Early Bird” exercise. Early Bird allows our campers to get a jump-start to their days. The blood is pumping early in the morning. It is a great way for our campers to tackle each day with a running start. Further, the emphasis on exercise – both aerobic and anaerobic – is a life lesson that each camper will carry with her for the rest of her life.

Being the spontaneous folks that we are, we are not unwilling to change our entire day – at a moment's notice. Be it inclement weather, or the desire to want some change, our staff is always ready to change our program – all in an effort to keep camp FUN!

Out-of-Camp Trips are a camp favourite. We usually take these trips on Sunday afternoons.
