Campers enjoying marshmallows by the camp fire

A program designed for girls to excel and have fun

Camp Ak-O-Mak has been enjoying sporting traditions for over 80 years. Our schedule and our program work to achieve our goals – empower girls all while having fun! Although we follow a template for daily and weekly schedules, our Program Director and counsellor staff are expert at re-writing a day on a moment’s notice, due to inclement weather or to take advantage of a terrific opportunity! Depending on the session, campers will be have the chance to participate in some very special activities, such as the Ak-O-Mak/Chikopi Softball Game or Sailing Regatta, Rambo, the 12k race, and Treasure Hunt just to name a few.
