Tuesday July 24th:
Today was bittersweet as we said goodbye to the campers that stayed for the 4 week session, and prepared to welcome the campers coming for the 3 week session tomorrow! We started off the morning with a sleep in, and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast of English muffins with egg, cereal and fresh fruit. After breakfast we had a shorter morning of classes. The classes included Rocktagon and swimming, with gunnel bobbing at the end. Rocktagon is played in one of the cabins, and the campers put on two lifejackets and lay out all the mattresses on the floor and they wrestle! It is always one of everyone’s favourite activities. We had an early lunch today, and afterwards we headed to North Bay to go see Mamma Mia 2! We all settled in with popcorn and treats and enjoyed watching the musical! We arrived back at camp in time for dinner, before playing Scuttlebugs for evening activity! Scuttlebugs is played in the mainhouse, and everyone has to sneak out of the library, head down the stairs and escape through the door without making a sound. We headed down to the cabins after evening activity for an early bedtime, to get ready to welcome the new campers tomorrow!
