Dear Ak-O-Mak families,

With Ontario now allowing the operation of overnight summer camps we’d like to give you an update on Camp Ak-O-Mak’s plans for this summer:

• As per the most recent website update, we will be running 4 sessions this summer starting July 21st and with the final session ending August 28th

As you can imagine planning for this camp season and securing the staff necessary to run a full program effectively and safely is very challenging. You are receiving this email because you are one of our parents who sent a registration for your camper(s) this summer. We have not yet processed any payments but are now ready to proceed in order to firm up your registration. Time is tight and demand for our programs this summer is very strong so we need to get your confirmation in order in order to proceed with your child’s registration asap.

Please note next steps needed are as follows:

1. Email your confirmation to proceed with your child’s attendance as per your original registration no later than July 9th
2. Upon receipt of this confirmation, we will proceed to charge your credit card for the full cost of the session, if your payment information was not included with your original registration or may have changed please be sure to include it with your confirmation email
3. If we are unable to process your full payment by Thursday, July 14th we will be unable to secure your child’s spot and will proceed to make it available to others who are currently enquiring about the availability of sessions for camp this summer.
4. If you rolled over your registration and payment from 2020 we will be sending you an updated statement.
5. All payment information please direct to Kavin at kavin@campakomak.com  and please copy Kavin with your email confirmation.

Additionally, with the strict protocols put in place for camps this summer by the MOH/Public Health please find attached our revised travel form. Please be sure to read carefully as your confirmation of your child’s registration includes acceptance of the drop-off and pick up conditions as stipulated.

We are very excited to be returning to camp this summer and hope you can understand the fast-changing realities we are dealing with as we navigate through these most unusual times.
