Kicking Off August with Sunshine & Smiles at Our Sports Summer Camp for Girls
We were so excited to welcome our August campers this week! It’s been a fantastic start to the final month of summer at our sports summer camp for girls, and the energy around camp is high!

Some of the week’s highlights included the colourful chaos of our Colour Run with Camp Chikopi, which had everyone laughing, running, and celebrating together. Our triathletes began training for the upcoming Barrie Triathlon, focusing on road biking skills, open water swimming, and transition practice. The dedication, determination, and teamwork on display show exactly what makes a girls’ sports camp experience so rewarding.

Midweek, we took a sunny trip to Ahmic Harbour for ice cream, always a camper favourite and the perfect way to cool off on a hot August afternoon. With the beautiful weather and clear skies, every practice, game, and outdoor adventure feels even more special.
One of the best parts of this session so far has been watching friendships grow through sports at summer camp. Whether it’s cheering each other on during training, sharing stories over meals, or teaming up for group activities, campers are building bonds that go beyond the playing field. That’s the heart of a sports summer camp for girls, developing athletic skills while also creating connections that last a lifetime.
We’re off to a great start and can’t wait to see what the rest of August brings at camp!
